You will be picked up in the morning at your hotel in Moshi (or alternatively you can camp in the area) and drive to Uru for this half day tour.
This tour gives you an insight of the community of small scale coffee farmers on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Coffee is grown in the shade of big trees
and banana plantations.

Your local guide is a farmer himself and will take you through the whole process:
From Coffee berry picking and pulping to roasting and finally brewing a fresh cup of Kilimanjaro coffee. They can explain more about organic coffee farming and Fair-trade standards.

You will not learn only about coffee farming but also about the life style and culture of the people living on Mt. Kilimanjaro.

At the end of the tour you return to the starting point and can enjoy a traditional meal for lunch.
