Kilimanjaro Scenic Flight
See Mt. Kilimanjaro from a birds eye on this stunning scenic flight around Africa’s highest mountains. The flight takes around 40-50 minutes and flys over the crater which provides a view of the ash pit.
Take off is at Arusha Airport at around 6:45 a.m. if weather permits. Please make sure to be at least 30 minutes prior to departure at the check-in. Bring your ID – All passengers booked on a flight must have government issued forms of identification.
Enjoy the beautiful view of Mawenzi peak, Kibo peak , Glaciers , Shira plateau and more. Everyone will have a windows seat.
The plane is a state of Art Grand Caravan EX operated by Northern Air. Oxygen and oxygen masks are available in the aircraft and will be provided when we get past 4,500 m.
Cameras and phones are allowed and encouraged. (Please be aware that the use of “Selfie Sticks” and extending camera poles are strictly prohibited in and around the aircraft)
Layered clothing is recommended since you will be climbing above 4,500 m and the temperature drops below 0 degrees.
